二十二さい！

今しゅうの火曜日は私のたん上日でしたから、先しゅうのしゅうまつ、ニューヨクに行きました。あそこで、グアムの友だちやあねや高校に会って友だちとあそびました。とてもたのししゅうまつでしたが、今はいぞがしい時間です。火曜日に、私は二十二さいなりましたがしゅくだいやしけんがとてもあったから、おさけを飲みませんでした。ざんねんですね。でも、このなつ休みの時、ニューヨクに住んでいるつもりですから、よくパーティをするたり、おさけを飲むたりしたいです！

First off, I am terrified of public speaking, so the fact that I got through my speech at all was suprising. During my speech, I thought I was talking a lot faster than I apparently was. Hearing it over, I realized that I spoke a lot slower, and made more pauses (especially after particles). Another thing that I hadn't noticed was the number of "uhms" that I made as I tried to remember my sentences. Also, I seemed to lack confidence and excitement about my topic in my speech. I will definitely work on these aspects for my future speech-giving opportunities.
